Out of Bounds Shots
If a player hits the ball into the trees, a player can either play the ball as it lies with no penalty or drop a ball at the point of entry into the trees incurring a one stroke penalty. If a player hits a ball into a water hazard, a player can attempts to play the ball as it lies with no penalty or drop a ball behind the water hazard (going back as far as wanted), but keeping the point at which the original shot crossed into the hazard directly between the drop and the hole incurring a one stroke penalty.
If a player hits the ball into a bunker the player may improve his lie within the bunker if the ball lands in a hole, given that there are no rakes.
Challenges
Longest 1 Armed Drive
This challenge will test your skills! Here’s what it takes: place one arm behind your back. Then, use your chosen arm to drive your ball as far as you can.
Did you know? The current record to beat at ForeAbility is 320 yards! The longest recorded drive with one arm is around 300 yards, with no roll. Are you up for the challenge?
Visually Impaired Putt
This challenge is all about effective communication. It is for 2 team members. Partners must rely on the verbal and auditory guidance from their partner to try and sink a long putt.
Did you know? Individuals living with visual impairments play golf with a guide who essentially helps the player line up to the hole, and describe characteristics of the course.
In the Drink Pitch
Test your pitching skills in this unique challenge. To win, players take one turn each to land the ball in the kayak (located in the middle of the lake). If multiple players are successful, the winner will be picked at random.
