At RMA, we want to educate our neighbours about adaptive sports, disability knowledge and the challenges of accessibility in the surrounding areas. We offer various different formats in the form of info and practical sessions, designed for your team to become more knowledgeable in this field

Gather Your Information
Get ready to submit your inquiry by collecting details such as your group size, activities of interest, and requested dates and locations.

Submit a Request
Submit a booking inquiry through our online form at least 60 days prior to the date (additional notice may be required for large groups).

Confirmation
Once your date and activity are confirmed, we’ll send your booking invoice for online payment and provide more information and deadlines for collecting relevant information or forms to complete for your group.

Preparation
We’ll stay in touch to collect any required details by the deadlines in your booking confirmation, helping us plan effectively with the right resources and staff. In the days leading up to your adventure, you’ll receive reminders about packing lists, location details, and other essentials.

Available Adventures
Volunteer Experience and Training Session
This session educates your group on volunteering in adaptive sport, followed practical training using RMA’s extensive range of equipment. The focus of the activity (ie. hiking, biking, or paddlesports) will be determined prior to the session.
Program & Equipment Taster Session
Learn more about the services, programs and adaptive equipment that RMA has to offer. These specialized sessions provide informative guidance and experiential training on many adaptive sport and recreational areas, which are tailored to suit your groups interests and abilities.
Presentation & Info Session
Learn more about RMA’s range of programming and volunteer roles at this information and interactive slide show presentation and talk. These presentations will provide you with information on RMA’s specialized equipment, adaptive programs and lessons and allow lots of time for questions.
Conditions
Your team must be prepared to be involved in the chosen activity.
Activity details and schedule vary per activity and may change in the lead up to your activity. Specific details will be confirmed close to your adventure date.
We recommend booking 4 weeks prior to your requested booking date. However, we may be able to accommodate bookings up to 2 weeks prior. Please provide a range of possible dates at time of request.
For cancellations, a 50% refund will be issued when request is made 4 weeks prior to event. No refund is provided for cancellations made within 4 weeks of event. If you do need to cancel, please discuss options to move booking to alternative date
