The retail value of in kind donations will be categorized according to the Sponsorship Levels listed above.

For corporate sponsorship, tax receipts may not be issued (as defined by Canada Revenue Agency) as gains may be made through marketing and/or advertising. If your organisation wishes to receive a tax receipt, you must contact us to opt out of any form of recognition, in the lead up and day of the event.

When donating a prize item, a gift in kind receipt may be issued if proof of fair market value (“FMV”) of the gift is provided. Your organisation may still be named as a donor on silent auction bidding forms or any corporate tags attached to your product(s). Your corporation may also choose to write off donated swag as a business expense.
