What is Available to Rent During the Winter?
We rent the following equipment to our adaptive guests and their families/friends:
- Sit Skis
- Stand Up Outriggers
First Time Renters
Rentals of our sit ski equipment are only available to EXPERIENCED USERS. If you have not rented a sit ski before or have never used one, please book a lesson with us. Sit ski renters should be able to load a chair lift and ski a green run independently ( by independently, we mean that the sit skier is in charge of their sit ski, but may need some extra support to lift the sit ski onto the chair lift and may require help getting up if they fall on a run).
If you have not rented a sit ski or stand up outrigger from us before, you will be required to take part in a mandatory 1 hour orientation of the equipment. The equipment orientation is $20. If you have rented this equipment from us before or taken part in an RMA lesson/experience using this equipment, you do not need to take part in the orientation.
The rental cost is $25/day. Punch Passes are also available: $200/10 day pass; $300/20 day pass. These passes are available for use with all our summer and winter equipment rentals, and are purchased during check out when you book your first rental (below). There is no expiry to our Punch Passes.
All rentals are available from 9am – 4pm on any given day of the winter season (November 10 – May 22), unless other specific times are requested. Once a rental booking has been paid for, we will confirm your booking. During the winter months, equipment rentals should be collected from the RMA Shed (located at Sunshine Village, at the top of the gondola on the left hand side). Rental Equipment should be dropped off by 4pm on any give day. Day equipment rentals not returned 4pm will be subject to an extra day(s) charge. We require 48 hours notice for all rental equipment.
After booking your rental, please complete the Rental Agreement Form for each person renting equipment, prior to collection.
Cancellation & Weather Policy
Cancellation notice must be received a minimum of 48 hours prior to the activity date in order to qualify for a full refund (minus a 10% processing fee). Refunds will be processed within 48 hours after the request has been received. Bookings cancelled within 48 hours of the activity date will not receive a refund. Bookings with RMA are not cancelled and refunded due to inclement weather. RMA reserves the right to cancel a program or lesson due to a forecast of extreme cold (below -30) or heavy rain. In this case, a rescheduled date will be arranged. For all cancellations, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org
