We are proud to be partnered with Chinook Rafting to offer white water rafting experiences on the Kanaskis River. These trips are catered to each person’s needs and requirements. Each individual with a disability is required to be accompanied by a parent, caregiver or volunteer (RMA may supply volunteer).
Rafting participants are not required to hold a paddle, although if possible it is recommended. Those with difficulty balancing may want to sit in the raft and hold on to the sides. All participants must be able to roll onto their back and flat i this position if they happen to fall in the water (very unlikely).
This white water rafting trip is suitable for individuals of most abilities. There are roughly 20 steps to descend in order to access the river boat launch. Adaptive guests with mobility challenges may need to be be carried on thee steps. If this is the case, please contact us prior to booking at firstname.lastname@example.org
Each raft holds 10 people plus the raft guide. When the quantity of RMA guests is less than 10, guests will be in a raft with other members of the public. If you would rather book an entire raft, please contact us for pricing.
Upon arrival at the rafting location, all participants will be provided with personal and safety equipment. Chinook Rafting offer exceptional levels of guest interaction and service, and provide adventure, entertainment, interpretation, team building and education.
