Whether you are new to canoeing or have had some experience, RMA provides Canoeing Experiences to individuals and up to 3 family members/friends. Choice of lake may be determined by the ability of individual. Our canoeing experiences offer a fun and scenic way to experience the beauty of the landscape while spending time on the water. While canoeing experiences do not include instruction, you may be taught how to appropriately hold and use a paddle. A canoe experience with RMA may be part of a multi activity and multi day trip.
While each Canoeing Experience is focussed on the person with the disability, we welcome up to 3 family members/friends to join. The canoe instructor and the individual will be in one canoe together. Family/friends may rotate places with the individual with a disability. If other family/friends are able to demonstrate a proficiency at canoeing, a second canoe will be made available.
A Canoe Experience may be combined with other Experience including Biking, Hiking, and Paddleboarding.
