This day hike is open to guests of any ability and their family members. There are 2 levels available: Amble to Chester Lake & Scramble to Chester Lake & Rummel Lake. Please choose the level most suitable to you/your family members/friends. TrailRiders will be provided if needed (on a first come, first serve basis). Those wishing to joining us for this day do not need to be expert hikers, simply eager to hike a trail. Groups may be formed depending on speed and ability.

Scramble: To Chester Lake & beyond. From the lake, the Scramblers will continue the hike to Upper Chester Creek or Rummel Lake.

What to Bring
Hat, water bottle, sunscreen, lunch, snacks, comfortable walking shoes, backpack, dogs on a leash also welcome.

At the end of the days hike, join us at 5pm for BBQ dinner at Riverside Park in Canmore – food and soft drink are by donation. The BBQ Dinner is open to RMA participants, guests, family members, friends, volunteers and board members!
Cancellation & Weather Policy
Please click on the link below to register for this program. All participants on our programs or lessons are required to fill in the Health & Consent Form, and Lesson Assessment Form, and Waiver. These are one time only forms. If you have completed these forms in the past, you do not need to re-complete the Health & Consent or Lesson Assessment Form again. The RMA Waiver was updated in July 2017 and will need to be re-completed if submitted prior to this date. Thank you.
